Year Round Offerings

Triangle Belgian-Style Strong Golden Ale

This strong golden ale measures in at 8% & showcases a variety of the ingredients and brewing methods that help differentiate Triangle beers. The Strong Golden is fermented at a higher temperature than our other beers adding an undercurrent of fruitiness (although there is no fruit in the beer). Very lightly filtered, the Golden exhibits complex mouthfeel, strong malt flavors, a spicy hop presence and soothing alcohol warmth, followed by a clean, dry finish. It is excellent with food as well as served by itself. Bronze Medal Winner at 2009 Carolina Championship of Beer.

Food pairings: Richer dishes, meats, cheeses, stews, smoked foods. As an after-dinner drink.

Triangle Xtra- Pale Ale

An American- style Xtra Pale Ale (XPA) highlights the subtle and sophisticated flavors of our American Midwest grown malts. Washington grown Northern Brewer and Palisade hops create an extremely balanced beer with a beautiful straw color. This crisp and refreshing ale is a session beer for sure! 4.5% abv. Bronze Medal Winner at 2009 Carolina Championship of Beer.

Food pairings: Perfect with all foods, spicy, fish, fowl, grilled, pub grub, just not a dessert beer.

Seasonal Offerings

Triangle White Ale

Our interpretation of a traditional Belgian wheat beer, Triangle White Ale is unique and truly refreshing. The style gets its name from the white, slightly cloudy appearance of this unfiltered wheat ale. Brewed with a generous amount of white wheat and our own special blend of spices, makes Triangle White Ale complex in flavor without being overpowering or cloying. Overall, it is a beer that is light, fruity and very drinkable during a hot summer day. 5%abv.

Triangle Stout

An aromatic blend of chocolate and roast malts truly enhances this Stout. Our Stout is a solid, satisfying beer with a rich black over ruby hue, creamy tan head, coupled with an underlying espresso finish. There is no coffee in this stout , but you sure taste the “Best of Both Worlds”. 5.6%abv. Silver Medal Winner at the 2009 Carolina Championship of Beer.

Food pairings: Sir Loin of Beef, Crown Roast Pork, or the dishes made famous by Lord Sandwich or the cheese named after Sir Cheddar.

Triangle Belgian-Style Abbey Ale

This Belgian-style Abbey Dubbel is an exceptionally complex beer with many interwoven flavors. This classic-style Abbey beer features an immense head with a fruity nose and a generous body. Malty in the middle, the beer features a clean, almond dry finish and a slight alcohol warmth. More like a wine than a beer—it has a lot of the qualities of a fine red wine. 7.2%abv. Bronze Medal Winner at 2009 Carolina Championship of Beer.

Food pairings: Great with smoked foods, cheeses, richer foods, and sushi (the sweetness in the beers pairs incredibly with the bit of saltiness in seaweed), sausages. Also an excellent dessert beer—pairs well with pretty much everything.

Rufus Reserve Series

Triangle Imperial Amber

This strong amber ale (8.2%abv) has a strong malt presence that holds this brew together. IBUs of around 90 balance the brew which is dry hopped to add an invigorating citrus and floral aroma that lingers to the end while complementing all that malt. It is excellent with food as well as served by itself or in the company of a fine cigar. Silver Medal Winner at 2009 Carolina Championship of Beer.

Food pairings: Best as a pre-dinner drink (hops are a great appetite stimulant), heartier fare, spicy foods, pizza, pub grub or as an after dinner drink enjoyed with a cigar.

Triangle India Pale Ale (100th Batch IPA)

At the request of you hopheads, we produced this I.P.A. with a deep golden color, plenty of hop bitterness balanced by malt sweetness. Because of the extensive dry hopping, there's a floral and citrus hop finish. It's then lightly filtered to maintain the appropriate body and flavor. The beer features a combination of American grown malts to balance the large amount of hops. The IPA also uses six hop varieties at three different times and measures in at 6.7%abv.

Food pairings; As a pre-dinner drink (hops are a great appetite stimulant), heartier fare, spicy foods, pizza, pub grub.

Triangle 2.0 IPA (2nd Anniversary Beer)

Our Anniversary 2.0 IPA sparkles with effervescence. The 2.0 presents a floral, citrusy aroma and full hop flavor, while downplaying the bitterness and balancing out the malt. This beer has been specially dry hopped with 3 different hop varieties for a wonderful drinking experience. The 2.0 measures in at 5.6 abv.

Triangle Mild Ale

Brewed in the English tradition, this Mild Ale combines the finest domestic and imported malts to produce a chestnut-hued ale of unusual complexity. Subtle notes of chocolate, toffee and fine tobacco give this ale an enjoyable and satisfying "nutty" finish.
