I could sit here and wax poetic about the old country and European brewing tradition and how our brewery dates back to the 18th century when our great-great-grandfathers smuggled hops and malt onto a ship headed for the New World. Not to mention, how every time an additional family member made the voyage they would bring a new piece of brick and brewing equipment (tanks, silos, etc.), concealed on their person, until the brewery was completed. But, if I did that, it would all be a complete fallacy! (but an amusing one at that).
So, no tearful, inspiring immigrant story for you!
But hey, if you still want to know the Triangle Brewing Company History, read on: Triangle Brewing Company was initially conceived over ten years ago in the small state of Connecticut. Alas without a name, but with a concept and a gleam in our eyes. Two Connecticut boys spending their youth collecting market research to prepare us for our future. Each boy set out on a pilgrimage across the eastern coast of the United States only to reunite in the Durham! So, please help us continue to write the next chapter…
